If you need a new gas effect fire we can have one made to measure for you. We come round and make a template, and it takes 2-3 weeks to have your bespoke fire made. All gas fires we supply comply with European regulations.

For environmental, safety and fuel efficiency reasons, gas fireplaces should be serviced on an annual basis. This involves cleaning the jets, checking the ignition and making sure there are no leaks anywhere in the system. We will also check there is sufficient ventilation in the room and smoke test the flue. A Free Carbon Monoxide Monitor is included in the price of £80 for the Full Annual Service.
The annual service is performed by our fully qualified team of Gas Safe registered fireplace engineers. On the rare occasion that new parts are required then an additional cost for their supply will be incurred.

We recommend a carbon monoxide detector be fitted in rooms where solid fuel and gas fires are used. Excessive build up of odourless CO fumes can be extremely dangerous. We have recently started stocking these for £19.50. The model we stock is approved by British Gas.
