Safety First

Carbon Monoxide Detectors
If don't have an air vent, we recommend a carbon monoxide detector be fitted in rooms where solid fuel and gas fires are fitted. Excessive build up of odourless CO fumes can be extremely dangerous. We have recently started stocking these for £22.50 including postage. The model we stock is approved by CORGI

Door Stripping, Hanging and Waxing
Transform your pine doors by having the old paint removed. After, we recommend the door be lightly sanded and fed, brought back to life, with either oil or wax. (Stripping from £20.00 / Waxing £15.00). If you are stuck for someone to hang your doors, then let us know.
Our carpenter, Scott, is well experienced and can offer more than just door hanging.

Fireplace Fitting
Headed by Dennis, our team of Corgi and Hetas registered fitters have over 40 years experience between them. Constantly keeping abreast of changes in regulations, the boys are among the best in the business. It took us 3 years to find them and we have been associated ever since. Charming and efficient, they get the job done and done well. London and Kent covered.

Cast-iron Radiator Restoration
If you have radiators which could do with shot-blasting and re-spraying from a choice of a variety of a colours then we can do that. We can disconnect, remove, transport and reconnect.

Plumbing
Corgi registered, our plumbers, Robert and Tony can fit cast-iron radiators, roll-top baths, sinks, taps and basins as well as fully install bathrooms and kitchens.

Matthew, Director and owner of the business, has a wealth of hands on experience. From organising, coordinating and managing demolition jobs, writing a column in a period magazine, giving styling advice for customers and for TV shows, the Gaffer has the ability to get the job done to the highest of standards.
